Microsoft Office 2016 (codenamed Office 16) is a version of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, succeeding both Office 2013 and Office for Mac 2011 and preceding Office 2019 for both platforms. It was released on macOS on July 9, 2015, and on Microsoft Windows on September 22, 2015, for Office. Support for Office 2016 for Mac ended on October 13, 2020. Rest assured that all your Office 2016 apps will continue to function—they won't disappear from your Mac, nor will you lose any. I’ve been using Outlook 2013 since it came out and I’m still quite happy with it. I know that since then Outlook 2016 has come out and Outlook 2019 is the latest version that is available. Then there is also Microsoft 365 which apparently is always the latest version of Office.
